I like her a lot but... Johanna Konta's AUNT got married.
I know it is a serious occasion, but no need to look 20 years older. Looks elderly pretty.

I think she looks very nice here (without seeing the entire dress). I think it's a good classic look, not something she'll regret when looking at the photo in 20 years. In terms of looking younger, really think Johanna's hair would need to be down to pull that off, and it's the direction I'd have gone.

Some think she's using the flowers to hide that she's pregnant.

One of the best ways to protect your hair is braiding it like KaPlis has done here. Many women of color who wear their hair natural braid it in the winter for example so that hats don't break the hair. I know folks gave Garbi a hard time when she did this but I totally understood then and understand now why this is done.

Someone posted pictures on that WTA fan board of women from Eastern Europe with their hair in braids similar to the styles women are wearing now. I'm not going to get into who started what. Women, and men (there are pictures of indigenous North American men with long braids too) have always found different things to do with their hair. In the West hair braiding is associated with women of African descent, who were shamed for it.

We gave Garbie a hard time not because of anything else other than, braids didn't suit her. To me, it was that simple. I may like her a lot and think she is pretty but great hair she does not have.

I hated the braids on Garbi, but Vogue likes her hair. :) The article from a few years ago is titled "Garbine Muguruza Has Tennis's Best Stealth Bombshell Hair" - just a roundup of her photos from her Instagram where her hair is tousled and sexy.

I stand gladly corrected. I love her hair in the last shot.

Me too. "Bombshell bedhead" has been my hair goal ever since.
