Regarding two wins against the same opponent. In 2003 young Federer done what Sinner could not do. Agassi played a role of Novak there. He had 3-0 H2H against Roger at that time. Roger beat him twice. RR match was tense. The final - not so much, Federer became himself over the course of that tournament.

The ATP leaderboard rates Alcaraz #10 in the world on returning on hard courts, though he is #1 in returning on clay..Medvedev is #1 on hard court returns .
Maybe a clue to why he (Alcaraz) doesn't do so well on fast hard courts..
Look at his less than stellar record at Shanghai, Bercy, Melbourne and Turin, the fastest courts currently....
