After the behavior De Minaur displayed during Novak 2022 AO debacle (kicking a man while he is down), I consider each his loss a good thing.
Also Berrettini could use some good run.

Wow, I thought Niemeier was close to winning and backing up the Muchova upset. I don't know much about Galfi. The name is barely familiar. I don't know how some of you keep tradk of all the players.

Badosa has a stress fracture on her spine; I can't think of a worst sport for that to heal.
Coming back at anything less than 100% is insane. Hope she will rest and recover totally.

Scoot over, Isner and Mahut! Bogdan and Tsurekno are 18-all in the match tiebreak!

Edit: Tsurenko won 20-18 and is barely able to move... Bodgan slumped over the net waiting... Bogdan had the open court a couple times in the last point and wouldn't go for it. Very safe, long rallies at the end.

Happy for him and would love to see him play Djokovic in the quarters. Bublik has only dropped one set, the first one of R1, tiebreak.

Multiple match points for both. Cornet would have blushed over all the shoe-tying, hunched over and breath-heaving spectacular. HOT!!!!! MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yD AND :gorgeous: are richly earned.

But now she can focus on the mixed doubles.
Please. That is SO yesterday's news. Tsitsipas is dumping this old, broken-down battle axe, and, just perhaps, gonna invite the lovely Sakkari to play some mixed. His true soul mate. :gorgeous:

Meanwhile Andreescu steadily holding a lead, good for her.
I think Brengle had match points or close.
She never got to match point. But she was two points away from the win a number of times.

JTContinental wrote: Fri Jul 07, 2023 12:04 pm The first two sets of Alexandrova/Brengle is about as bad of tennis as you can see. Brengle has been pushing, so only has 9 winners through two tiebreak sets. Meanwhile, Alexandrova is overhitting everything and has racked up 60 UFEs in two sets.
I just can't with Brengle's service motion.
PS: ALL of you. KEEP Madison Brengle's name out of your f-ing mouths!!!! :gorgeous:
