Midway through the fourth set, Tsitsipas had lost 13 points on his serve through 17 service games plus a tiebreak.

Since then, he had to save a break point in one game and got broken in the next.

WE were wrong. I thought this would simply take the place of Novak's daily practice routine.
You won't really be wrong. It will just take an extra 40 min, that's all.

Djokovic locks down on Hurkacz's serve in the 7th game, and breaks for a 4-3 lead.

And Eubanks is about to knock me, and several others, from the SP because he is already one break up in the 5th.
And with that serve, he has a very good chance.

A bit longer, but the same result as ever.

Suliso was mentioning that there are no signs that Sabalenka even remembers the RG SF. She is playing solid tennis.
I say the winner of the Sabalenka/Rybakina SF (if they make it there) will have the upper hand against Iga in the final. If she makes it there.

The Eubanks win against Tsitsipas is one of the most unlikely I've ever seen given the run of play.

Before the match, you could have made a legitimate case for Eubanks winning based on his form and Tsitsipas' form, but not after Eubanks pretty much set a slam record for returning ineptitude through three-and-a-half sets and got broken four times, winning a total of five points in the four games he lost on serve. He won only one point against serve in the tiebreak he won, and that came on a double fault.

Somehow, he got his return game together with some help from Tsitsipas and hit some huge shots when he needed them.

Jabeur just hit a drop shot winner off a Kvitova 2nd serve to break for the 3rd time in the first set - 5-0.

I thought the rule was that IF you throw your racquet AND you break it, you get the code violations. If now you are going to go to the point that if you throw/drop the racquet, that is going to be a gray area.
And, to me, that did not merit any sort of code violations. She did stumble.
The lip handshake and not shaking the umps hand is silly. It was not Keys' fault, and the ump, well, you still shake hands.
She is 16. I hope somebody will pull her aside and explain a bit more. And listen to what she has to say.
I think it may also be court abuse since the racket can do damage to the grass court surface, so I don’t think it’s just for throwing the racket.

Serious here, not putting you on. Is there a COURT ABUSE clause in the code?

.....Ya think?!?! :D

Not shocked that she lost- although, obviously, I was hoping she would win today, especially with their H2H record. But....that score? Really sad- could be her worst result ever. Uggggghhhhh.
