Kvitova is a two_time champion and seems to be playing close to that level...I am not convinced about Saba' movement on grass..I don't give her much chance...

And none of them have played anybody of consequence. Iga beat SST, a player with no weapons.
Let's see what happens when they play somebody tough. Only match so far that I would consider of any relevance, data-wise, is Elena-Alize, because Alize has had good showings at W. And Alize is already 33, and we know she has never been a top notch player.
*We know no such thing concerning Cornet. She got to #11 in the world. One singles Slam QF- at the Aussie, and 5 4R results at the three other Slams. 3 wins (against 4 losses) to Serena, including beating her at Wimbledon. She beat Venus in a tournament final. Six career titles. (And 3 doubles titles.) LOL, NOT the stuff of legends. But, I think she was pretty top-notch. (Let WIKI be your friend, bub.) :gorgeous:

*Granted, their choices would round off to approximately 0% chances this year. But, I'd also give Petra more of a chance compared to Sabalenka. She DID win a grass tournament and Miami this year, and has those two Wimbledon titles. Petra can struggle against many players- Little Fat Face also took Petra to 3 sets in the first round of Wimbledon last year. But, now and then, when she gets through her struggles....And, she's been VERY!!!! underwhelming at Slams for years. AND she'll probably lose in the 2R to Sandwich- who beat Petra a few years back at Wimbledon 6-0 in the third. AND, granted, I'm biased...... :gorgeous:

Iga took her notebook with her during her bathroom break. I've never seen that before.

You can't train a 15/16 year old who is still growing like someone four or five years older.

IF Andreeva fulfils the "winning" part of the equation, she's got STAR written all over her.

I understand he does a very good show. I hope she's able to attend.

Pegula has a great chance of reaching her first GS SF. For a QF the draw could hardly be better.

In any case a new Wimbledon finalist is guaranteed from this side of the draw.
