I can't decide if I think it will happen, or I just want it to happen. Ons is my current player that I would like to most see win a major.

Now that we are in the QFs..
The most interesting match is Jabeur-Ryba, the least is Swiatek-Svitolina (Svitolina has a 10% chance at best) and Vondrousova-Pegula (neither of them is really a contender do it doesn't much matter)..Saba-Keys is clearly Saba's to lose, which she might do but Keys is not going to go further either...

I think people are far too certain one of the big three will win Wimbledon.

They are the favorites, yes, but Jabeur, Keys and Vondrousova all have a chance, too in my estimation. There's no Djokovic out there on the women's side on grass.

Swiatek had to save match points to avoid a straight-set loss to Bencic. Sabalenka was a game away from going down in flames in the second round.

Vondrousova doing well against Pegula right now..V isn't quite a Tier 1 player but she is close...Jabeur is closer, of course..

In any case a new Wimbledon finalist is guaranteed from this side of the draw.
But I don't think she will..

Exactly.
We keep forgetting. These "BIG THREE" have a combined 6 slams in between them, and four are Iga's. They do not walk on court with 3 games of the first set in their pockets, like Roger used to, or Novak now.
They are not a "Big Three". They are the top three, which is a big achievement, but it is far from the connotations of the first label.

For those wondering where Gaël is

And yes she's referring to Serena which took this to another level I don't want to get into here.

Samples of one. Elina is Elina, Serena is Serena. What (maybe) is working for one, does not necessarily would have worked for the other.

Which is where the discussion should've ended but didn't. :|
