Thanks for your posts in the previous topic, which I locked.
The guidelines seem to be straightforward, and therefore we can use FORMS as opposed to SHEETS. I was the one doing it wrong.

So, if we can test this again.

PICKS FOR THE DAY:
Evert Vs Navratilova
Graf Vs Seles
BJK Vs Goolagong
Williams Vs Henin

the responses will be collected via a link in the NEXT POST.
That link (open in a new tab, I would recommend) will ask for your user name, and your pick. I hope they are self explanatory.
Let's play that you change you mind. Then, make a second pick, but in your NAME field, just add the string "(2)". So, for example, if I were to make a change to my pick, the second post would be by ponchi101(2)
And then, please also put your pick in a new post, so I can compare.

Posts to follow.

The TAT'ers that picked up players are there, and we have an easy Spreadsheet export PLUS a button to stop accepting answers. This, together with the LOCK TOPIC function here, can work to stop any possible cheating.
The spreadsheet is very simple:

This is easily exported to Excel (simple copy/paste) for the person running the SP to manipulate the picks. Or it has almost all Excel functions, so it can be done in the same sheet.

So, I believe this is the way, for now.
Your thoughts are very welcome. Txs to James and Woody for the input. :tatrocks:

by ponchi101 We received 5 replies for our experiment, so here is my opinion.
I believe that for the Aussie Open SP this is the way. We will still not have time to implement a parser in PHP, and this works.
The initial link gives us a simple form that can be accessed and we can see the players' choices:
