I know right - the whole white saviour thing has gotten more attention in the past few years, and made the movie kind of feel icky, but now it's just a downright not going to ever watch it again.

Not just a white savior, but a wealthy white savior. These people need a life sentence, so debased.

Aaaaaand, that's it for Aaron Rogers. I like watching Woody Johnson lose money and chances, and I never liked Rogers.

And what can the Jets offer the Rams for Stafford? Or is there another Stafford?
Not informed enough for this to make sense to me.

It's just word on the street now. None of the reliable sources are saying anything yet.

Nick Chubb out with an injury so bad they would not show the replay.
Too bad. I really like the guy. I hope his career is not over.

So. Sean Peyton. You got throttled for 70 points. Give some money back?
And I can't understand the Chargers' coach. Just can't.

I thought that you meant to post this in the CFB thread because no NFL team lets another team rack up 70 points against them and yet...

How much are the Broncos paying Sean Payton?
$18 million a year
According to NBC Sports' Peter King, Sean Payton's contract with the Broncos is for five years and “in the neighborhood of” $18 million a year. That number would make Payton the second-highest-paid coach in not just the NFL, but in all of American sports.6 Feb 2023

About Payton.
Yes, he was a good coach. WHO HAD A HOF QB FOR ALL OF HIS TENURE in N.O. How come managers can't see that if he had a very good team, especially at that position, that will not translate to immediate success everywhere else? Just look at Belichick. Sure, HOF coach, because he had Brady. Nowadays, he is still a fine coach, but he cannot throw, run or catch the ball.
Popovich in the NBA. A superb coach. That has done nothing since Tim, Tony, Manu and Kawhi departed.
Coaches: they take too much blame, and too much credit.

Is there any job where people have to give money back? If a player does badly, should they give money back? :)

He boasted a little bit. Ergo my comment.
But you are right.

I love the theory that McDaniel intentionally went after the Broncos because he grew up wanting to work there and they refused to let him interview.

(Also that he didn't kick the last FG which would have tied the record for most ever because just more fun to have 70 in general)
