2022. Australian Open Losers' Lounge (The Kanga Rue Bar)

Our apologies for the late opening. We were disinfecting the entire place.
Please: wear your mask at all times, until you need to start crying because of your lousy pick. DO NOT blow your nose into it.
Keep your distance. Best way to avoid crowded tables: DO NOT CLIMB ON SHAKY Bandwagons, and if so, jump before you reach the cliff.
If you are not vaccinated, please let us know so we can introduce you to our friends at BF.
Now, we know YOU ALL WILL BE HERE, sooner rather than later. So, get one of our rapid test kits, make sure you are not showing symptoms, and get ready to suffer. Name of the game!

:( I forgot what time it was and forgot to pick! Therefore, here I sit, ruefully, with a vegemite sandwich. My AO was done before it began...sounds familiar....

Whoo hoo! I lasted 45 minutes longer than the no-pickers. If I hurry, maybe I can catch a ride to the airport with Novak.

In lieu of our usual Jukebox from Hell, we'll be playing a recorded livestream of people commenting on the livestream of Djokovic's court hearing (because the official livestream is no longer available) on a loop for the duration of the tournament. If that doesn't sedate the most violent of our losers, nothing can.

BONUS!!!!

For those poor souls who are here early, here is a livestream of the sky that will show Djokovic's plane landing in Belgrade:

That's what they said about Jesus 3 days later, too! Coincidence?

Eh you wait months for a SP to start, then go out on day 1 to a WC.

Love the name of the bar though :)

Double-cheeked on Day 1 - at least I can drown my sorrows and leave before it gets crowded. Good thing I double-masked; I can use one as an eye mask when I want to sleep it off. Bring me something cold with a high alcohol content to kill off any uninvited microbes.

I think my two SP picks will rack up more losses than my eight YCWJ picks. I think for that level of ineptitude I should receive a free entry in Paris.
