Can you beat the draw? Just one measly pick a day...

Should I have seen the Hurkacs result coming? Just asking. Trying to be better.

Being better at Suicide Pools? That is an improbable dream.

Hurkacz, if anything, was a bad pick because it was early. The man won Halle, was a SF last year. I never considered it for day 1 because I felt he was good, at least, for a 3R.
Nature of this beast. That was a good, safe pick, maybe done in the spirit of burning a high pick to avoid going out on day 1. But, this game is such.

Heck no. That was just terrible luck. Everyone has stories of getting cheeked on Day 1 out of the blue. That is my normal result in women's SPs. :) Don't get discouraged!

Not sure what happend to Christian Harrison, but after his retiring after just four games, Mr. #1 bandwagon of today (if I'm not mistaken), Otte, is through.

#2 bandwagon too. The SP is building up for something further down the road.

The 2nd quarter is turning into quite something. Imaging having to pick once or twice there..

It will be tough. The good thing is that maybe we will have a clean pick from the first quarter, which plays the same day, from the match that will produce the next victim for Novak.
But that is wishful thinking.

A perfect day for those of us still in. Lost nobody! That must be a bad sign for tomorrow or the day after.

You know that, when tomorrow a lot of people indeed lose and fall in despair, it will do wonders for your reputation?
You do, right? ;)

Plus, there are indeed some Opelka pickers, and he is still out on court.

I would like to file a formal complaint against Dave. I believe the Opelka pickers were eliminated because our picks weren't acknowledged.

That's the end of my Wimby suicide pool. Enjoy, guys!
