I've created a new tool inside my database. This is a form with associated code that allows to calculate win-loss record for the n (any given number) matches in the beginning of the career for any selected player. And similtaneously for the end of the career. For active players the latter will be the most recent matches. It allows to compare who was the most prominent early bloomer, etc.
So far I took 100 first matches for some frequently discussed players and the best are:
Alcaraz__-_75:25
JMac_____-_72:28
Wilander_-_70:30
Agassi___-_70:30
Chang____-_70:30
Becker___-_69:31
Hewitt___-_69:31
Connors__-_68:32
Nadal____-_67:33
Mecir____-_65:35
Djokovic_-_65:35
Lendl____-_63:37
Murray___-_63:37
Sinner___-_63:37
Borg_____-_62:38
Edberg___-_62:38
Sampras__-_60:40
....
Federer__-_51:49
Who do you think shall be added to the list?
Note: This covers only main tour. No challengers/quallies.

Re: Early bloomers
Federer was basically a 50% player. And then he became Roger. An amazing piece of trivia.

Re: Early bloomers
When I was looking up other players near the top, found one that REALLY surprised me. Even though I should've seen this coming.
