Seedings are determined from the rankings when the draw is done which is usually the Friday before the tournament starts.

It seems to me that for all practical purposes Collins has secured the 3rd Olympics singles spot from US.

Sinner is right now ca 800 points ahead of Djokovic for the post RG #1 ranking. Alcaraz can't catch him even if he wins the title.
