It's not cute until she wins something.
Until then, it's just annoying.

Qinwen made the cover of China's GQ.
I usually frown upon players doing too many of this. But, I don't know if she has done many, after all.
But if she starts winning big, she can be highly marketable. My untrained eye says there is very little production (compared to others) for a very nice shoot.

She needs to be doing considerably more if tennis is going to get semi-popular in China. I'm not sure that's the goal or not at this point, not sure they are investing at the same level they were when it was Li Na and Zheng Jie.

But Eileen Gu, a American teen freestyle skier that represents China for massive financial gain because her mother is from there is a advertising darling that is really capturing the attention of younger generation. Eileen just popped up in my face for someone else the other day out of nowhere. Qinwen has her to compete with I'd guess in trying to raise tennis' profile in the country, and she's got a long way to catchup. If she's not in non-tennis promotion like this, I highly doubt it's going to happen.

We may disagree at times with the man.
But one has to admit that the people that have worked with him are loyal to the core:
Boris Becker Reveals He Cried In Jail Watching Novak Djokovic Win Wimbledon

I gather that the jerk in me says that if you are in prison, you certainly have reasons to cry. Watching a tennis match is not one of them.
But, Novak is beloved by his crew.

^ Every day, it's looking more and more like she's following the illustrious path of Genie Bouchard - just without revealing as many body parts.

He's always seemed much more easily led than his brother. Follower.

He was not the best player of anything, not even his own house. That kept him grounded.
(I guess).
