In the Open era, only six men have won their first slam after their 27th birthday.

The game has gotten older. Zverev's prime likely will last another 5 years.

Johansson was still 26 when he won the Australian Open - his birthday is in March - the 6th is Andres Gimeno who won the 1972 French Open at the age of 34. Gimeno is the oldest first time slam winner by more than four years.
