I am not a Fritz guy, but I expect him to take a set from Sinner. This is the best he's ever played and his serve will keep it tight. He matches up better with Sinner than Tiafoe, though neither one of them has the game to beat him unless he develops one of those injuries that crop up from time to time at critical moments.

I am expecting something like 7-5,7-6,6-2 ..though it is very silly to predict the score..the crowd will keep Fritz close in the first 2 sets, then Sinner will pull away.
But who knows!!

Somewhere in that realm. Fritz has a chance.
I will keep saying it. These guys are NOT R/R/N. They can be beat.
First you have to believe it, though.
H2H is basically meaningless. 1-1, with both meetings at IW (odd) and the last one in 2023. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since.

I think Alcaraz will be at the level of R/R/N. Except for Nadal on clay, they weren't at that level at his age.
Sinner might get there as well. We will know more by this time next year.

It might still change, but right now it doesn't seem like Fritz will threaten Sinner seriously.

Sinner with only 1 UE through the 5-4 game.
That is going to be tough to beat.

Straight sets for Sinner. Not a surprise really, is it?

OTOH. Fritz must be feeling bad (meaning, worse) for not pushing this to 4. He was playing fine tennis and then he got that set snatched from him.
