The NY Times piece I read stated, and I paraphrase, she was the smartest person in the station. Spot on. And that was a big deal at the time--to be both sexy and smart. Other shows were trying to do something similar, but I don't think anyone did it as well as Loni and the WKRP writers. RIP.

The NY Times is reporting Ozzy Osbourne has died. He was 76. (I didn't say anything, but I'm still smarting over Malcolm.)

Just a word on Ozzy. My cousin treated him years ago when he was hospitalized for a heart issue. Nothing but the most positive things to say, said he was funny and he and Sharon were absolutely lovely to the whole staff.

Fashion designer Giorgio Armani has died at age 91 following a prolonged illness.

I am a big fan of his aesthetic. It's cold for many but the way he made complex tailoring look so simple was what made me love his work.

May he RIP.
