A long way off given the very odd scheduling this year, but time for the thread I think since the field is set.

Sportsnet agrees with you :)

I'm just excited to have Canada in it for a change. Hopefully we score a goal this time!

Senegal just won the African cup, so I don't think Ecuador comes out of that group. The Netherlands should.

All very reasonable, but there are always a couple of surprises. For example, Poland is a good team it wouldn't surprise me if they were to edge out Mexico.

It might have been just because the US was in it, but have also heard many saying group B will be one of the toughest ones. All four countries within the top 21 right now.

Philadelphia PA. is the city that won to host the 2026 World Cup. I am pretty excited about this as Philadelphia is 90 minutes away from where I live. It isn't that I follow the sport of Soccer that much, but the World Cup is such a huge event and something that should be seen at least once in a lifetime. So having that opportunity is really exciting to me.

Keep in mind this is only for those in the stands. If you're in one of the private boxes carry on.

Respecting the religion and culture of the host country is understandable. Allowing those with deep pockets to do differently suggests it's not just about that and I don't respect the the rule nearly as much.

That being said, given the apparent low public alcohol consumption in Qatar, to say I doubt they are ready for hundreds of thousands of drunk, rowdy World Cup fans all at once is an understatement. The countries with the greatest alcohol consumption are barely ready for all that.
