Such an impressive comeback, considering their last match was the 3 and 0 drubbing by Rybakina in Brisbane.

Sorry, I got lost. What 6-0 agaisnt Sabalenka? They are now 5-3 (Aryna). I am missing something.

In three set matches is what Skinner said. I should've included that part.

Good win for Sabalenka.i don't think she can beat Swiatek though...Iga looks very focused and locked in...

But it is a fast court. And your theory would indicate that Aryna has more power and can hit through Iga.
I say it will be very close.

She beat her here last year. No reason to think it's impossible this year too.

no question it will be close but I think Iga is playing better now, should win.

This retirement bug is getting contagious. Now I'm afraid Felix will retire against Rublev.

Has anyone ever won a tournament with three straight retirements?

The most I found is 2016 US Open for Djokovic. But it was not straight. He had his opponents retire in R64, R32 and QF. He also did not win ))

That looks like Hantuchova and Guy Forget behind Garbi and her partner.
