Only reason for hedging on Alcaraz is that his injury seems quite serious...his arm may not hold up more than 2-3 rounds

Rybakina and Ostapenko are the only players with even a whiff of a chance of beating Swiatek..but Ostapenko will lose to someone else...

The BH can finish some points, but the FH usually opens the court first.

Rafa-Zverev in 1R.
I don't think Rafa can make it.
Please, Phillip Chatrier, first Sunday, last match. So the world can watch and say a proper farewell and thanks to Rafa.
Or, for the people that think that Zverev is guilty of the charges against him, he will have no excuse not to be in Germany.

If Zverev serves as well as he has been and stays focused, he should win. For me, he's the next favorite after Novak (today's Novak vs Griekspoor - he looked good).

Nadal is getting Zverev in the first round, when his body will be the freshest, and Zverev can be a choker even when he is playing well.

I do not anticipate Zverev losing, and I definitely think he is one of the four favorites, but it could be an interesting match.

Let's just all agree that Nadal has better chances against Zverev in the 1st round rather than in any later rounds. And those chances are still not high.

I would say Djokovic's chances are overrated here. He's not the player he was only a year ago.

As made obvious by his (Djokovic's) loss to Machac.

I think I will go with
Zverev 25%
Alcaraz, Tsitsipas 20%
Field 35%

It's an extremely rare very open GS for men. Normally I'd say Alcaraz is a favorite, but he's not healthy and neither is Sinner. So indeed probably Zverev, but not by very much!
