Korda is absolutely the most talented U.S. player and it is not that close.

But Fritz has maximized his ability to this point while Korda has underachieved on big stages. That is why their rankings are where they are. I cannot imagine Fritz contending for a slam title ever. I definitely can see Korda doing it, but it requires more toughness, consistency and health than he has exhibited so far in his young career.
