Checked, it is 331 gm, not 315..a bit heavier than normalponchi101 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 2:03 pmGlad to hear that you bought it, and green with envy that you got itashkor87 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 3:22 am ...
Great tip! Saw your post, bought the racket in London because I trust your judgment, played with it today for the first time. It is a great racket, powerful, feels light though it is 315 gm, the swing weight and balance took 4 games to get used to, then it started feeling great .
I really wanted to buy it too but right now I can't.

Re: Racquets/Strings
Just noticed something.
Three of the four women's semi finalist are playing with the same racquet. The Yonex Vcore. Add to that that Navarro also plays with it, and Yonex seems to be the top racquet for women, on grass.
At least this year.

Re: Racquets/Strings
a month on, am getting more comfortble with the V14 now.. it is so powerful that reflex volleys go for winners even without any force behind them.. very good for my serve, not so great for backhand, but that will take some more time. All in all, happy with it!

I envy you. My nCodes are in dire need for replacement, and the v14 would be it. Can't afford it right now, but as you say, it felt like a really good racquet when I demo'd it.

Re: Racquets/Strings
Nice article but:
When did Maddie unlock her game? She is still playing at about the same level. Her ranking does not fluctuate much.
And she is, to me, still an underachiever.
Would like to try her racquet, though. Compare the BLADE with the PRO STAFF.
