Prediction thread. Preamble: Carlos Alcaraz to this date never lost to a player younger than him.

Perricard's serve can blow people off the court. So, he has a good chance, if they meet.

So far, Perricard is all serve, so unless he improves other facets, I’m predicting an Isner-like career.

My dark horse pick is Learner Tien

Agree. But we are not talking here about his career. We are talking about who will be the first person younger than Alcaraz to beat him.

BTW, Nadal was also an early bloomer, like Alcaraz. When you'll look up who was the first player, younger than him, who beat him - you will be absolutely not surprised )))

Do you mean the "youngest" (at match time) player to ever beat Nadal maybe?

Otherwise the answer appears to be Gasquet (who was born the same month as Nadal actually, 15 days later.) Which although not a huge surprise, probably at least wasn't an obvious guess.

Gasquet never beat Nadal in ATP tour match. I'm not counting juniors and lesser tours (challengers).

I'll guess that it was Novak. Just because you said it was not surprising.

Ok, if we are only counting ATP tour level then yes it's Novak, Miami 2007.
