AOSP25 Women's Day 3 Picks: NO PICK NEEDED

#1

Post by JTContinental »

Hello future victims!

The AO has changed their order of play for Day 2 since I posted the picks thread, and removed 4 matches from the docket to accommodate those that didn't finish yesterday. Many people have chosen from those matches, and it's close to the start of play, so I'm going to leave everything as is.

No pick is needed for day 3. If you have picked from any of the removed matches, your pick will roll over to tomorrow. These are the 4 matches that were removed:

Anhelina Kalinina vs Ons Jabeur
Camila Osoria vs Maria Sakkari (31)
Mayar Sherif vs Dayana Yastremska (32)
Danka Kovinic vs Lulu Sun

If you made a pick for today from any of the other matches and that player wins, lucky you! You don't have to make a pick for Day 3.

Message me with any questions.

I am slow... "If you made a pick for today..." was written on Sunday. I survived Mertens, so that means I don't need to make a Day 3 pick today/Monday?

This is the way it should be! Having several of the Slams start the first round on Sunday has made it harder to stay alive in our contest, since we now have to pick three first-round matches. In recent years, I've struggled to pick first-round winners, but once I get past the first round I can often make it to the second week.
Thanks for giving us a break this week!

These three day first round starts are a huge pain on the back end of managing the SP, as well.
