Korda took me out today..I don't follow the men's game much until they reach the semis..i mean, what is the point..sinner, Alcaraz, djoko, medvedev are going to win anyway so why bother..that is my excuse, anyway. I should have checked the h2h, Vukic has beaten Korda the only previous time they have met but it hadn't penetrated the fog in my head..sigh...

ChatGPT is so risk- averse it wanted to pick Swiatek today. But it's strategy seems better than mine,- why oh why did I not research Korda and Vukic better? I deserve it.. Chatgpt meanwhile, keeps coming up with safe options..will try it now in the women's pool..Today it bet on Keys, seems very low-risk.i bet on Jabeur, a bit risky because of her health issues..

Tiafoe is now my personal Big Foe. I hope the jumping ants are targetting him next.

I changed my pick from Pegula to Pavlyuchenkova not because I thought Pegula would lose, but because I didn't want to check scores at work every 5 min...

Same! Pegula is about the most boring person on the planet.
A blue ring octopus bite is way too interesting for her.
She's more of a "thrombosis on the long flight to Melbourne" sort of death.
I had every intention to pick Pavy and I switched -- because I wanted to die slowly, needlessly, in the wee hours of the night?
Don't pour me a drink, just slap my face!

And I was worried I used Pegula too soon.

Blue ring octopi are too classy to slap you on the face. These are brilliant animals, that understand that if they were to do so, they can do it 8 times, simultaneously.
No. Not them. They will sting and kill you, for sure.
But, in this case, I found a dear octopus that was willing to pose for us with a delicate theme:
An old fashioned fountain pen. For you to write you next pick on...
A piece of paper. That is obviously water proof, because it is under water, so your tears will not smear the ink.
And she is donating some ink for your truly sorrowful next pick.

And THEN it will sting you and kill you.

(And I am just joking, Joanjettson. A right I acquired because I was blue-ringed on day 2  )
