That result has made it impossible for me and Federex to beat draw, having taken both Keys and Sviotlina.

The 2 Swiatek picks were the bigger surprise to me, but may work out for IronMike who still has Navarro. Merdon has taken Keys, Swiatek, and Navarro now so is also unable to beat draw.

Just to note, my Day 8 pick was Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (27) and not Badosa as I already picked her earlier. I didn't commit the dreaded double pick LOL

20 players remain on Day 10, all letting their true colors be known as to who they think will make the final on this side

The breakdown:

Coco Gauff 16
Aryna Sabalenka 4

I certainly wasn’t letting my actual true colors show… after Rybakina loss I couldn’t beat draw so figured a Gauff loss today was my only path to winning pool. Thought only three of us had gone this way, but see the edit!

So of course if Sabalenka loses we have 20 winners.

If Sabalenka wins, then here's who we have left:

Federex - Swiatek & Navrro (who play each other)
Iron Mike - Svitolina & Navarro
Natlee - Keys & Swiatek
Ptmcmahon - Swiatek & Navrro (who play each other)

Same logic here. Switch to Sabalanka because I realize I can't win a medal if I picked Gauff, so may as well.

So basically, no beating the draw?
Still, this Sakkari picker is impressed with your choices.

No one can beat the draw. Two people could have a semifinal pick still.

IF none of the four of us change picks (and there is still time):

If Navarro wins:

IronMike is sole winner, may have a semi pick but won't "need" to make it

If Swiatek and Keys win:

Natlee is sole winner, can pick Keys for semis

If Swiatek and Svitolina win:

Natlee, federex, and myself are three co-winners, all of us out picks.

Keys winning means we'll have a solo winner after tonight..NatLee if Swiatek wins, IronMike if Navarro wins. Good luck both of you! Me and Federex will enjoy our imaginary silver medals :D

Congrats NatLee!

Funny enough, looks like me and Federerx were one pick away from the same for the whole event.

I am humbled. So much hardware from those before me and I got this far. Thank you for providing a fun distraction from the dead of winter.
