My life plan has to stay in decent shape, maybe even peak when I am old - finally have my star athlete period. For example, I run a lot, so my goal is by the time I'm in my 60s and 70s to still be running and be able to win a bunch of races.
Age should not be a problem, but unless she learns how to hit harder, I would not bother. Her great control game is not going to bode well against the new power.
