Blew the second with sloppy play. Had double break
Points early in the third and blew them.

That's normal for Rublev and the reason why he has been to GS QF's 10x and lost every single time!

First set of Noskova/Anisimova was high quality despite the 6-2 scoreline. Both players have great court sense and shot selection, which has made for some fun points. The main difference has been Anisimova's firepower--she is drilling the corners for winners.

Now. The sole reason why I am wanting Saba to win is because I do not want Swiatek to win this thing. But please: Go, Elise!
Pavs was 100% correct and it does make you wonder if she wasn't playing an English player the correct call would've been made. I mean even the chair saw it out. I'm glad she went on to win the match.

It's why, in my opinion, tennis did it backwards. Keep the human line judges and use the electronics as a backup like it used to be. They still use living, breathing humans at RG but of course that's clay so...

I've read elsewhere that Norrie is a real piece of work but then again all very competitive people are.

Apparently someone in control of the line calling system turned off the sensors at that end of the court.

but in any case the umpire can overrule a non-functioning automated call, he should have. What is he there for? just to call the score?
