Parisians? Rude?
C'mon...

I am so tired of the "Finger to the ear" gesture. That one and the "Let's go, (insert team or player's name here), let's go!". Let's be original some time.

Finger to ear and biting trophies, medals can color my view of a player in a negative way.

the Paris court is really much slower this year, barely above medium.. even Alcaraz commented on it, though he thought it was good (didnt turn out that way, though, for him, which he should have known.. after all, what is the point of being the quickest player in the world if everyone can get to the ball?). but a new venue, it seems. Not sure I like the color of the court, looks faintly sick to me.

I am watching Khachanov Vs Deminaur. There is simply no way they can pass the other. They are getting to everything.

Hence the complaints about slow courts and slow balls.

(Interlude - I played in a tournament last weekend. Format was round robin - 8 game pro set (first to 8 or TB at 7-all). Two guys played and couldn't hit winners but got to everything. The match was 8-5 and lasted just over two hours. I actually thought of the pros when so many extra balls get returned)

Bublik navigated an unforgiving draw so far.

Personally, a career that has been largely wasted. He has so much talent, and now that he is playing a bit more controlled, he is getting so much better results. I always felt he was so satisfied with his results and with the money he was making, he was not going 100%.
But I hope he could take that final step. I like his game and the personality is smooth.

The average level of Felix is undoubtedly higher, but Bublik's peak level seems to be higher - classic dilemma. Regarding the season they both having - it is remarkable. But the amplitude of Bublik transformation is bigger. Felix been there before. I think Felix will win.

I suppose there is a chance of Jannik winning this tournament. Very impressive vs Shelton.
