Re: The new TAT2.0. Dark mode
We have installed an extension that allows you to switch to a dark mode. It works better with pro-silver, but it works with all themes.

That’s perfect advice, thank youFastbackss wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 2:05 am I am using on my mobile.
I click on the "three lines" which brings up a drop down box.
If you click on new posts it will bring up what posted since last visit. If you then click on the icon on left side of the thread topic it will take you to newest post.
Similarly can click on unread - will bring up any unread threads and you can click on the icon similarly

I figured this one out. They stay in your outbox until the recipient(s) has opened it.
Thank you, Ponchi.

Kirkus is correct. And as long as they are in your outbox, you can delete them and edit them. They move to SENT only when the recipient reads them.
So you always have a little time to delete any horrendous message you have sent someone else.

I like the changes in recent days, like expanded format options for posts

And I did say that if you were missing a smilie or any gif you simply had to post it and I would load it!!!!!
Grrrrrrrrr! viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11#p199
Remember. It is easy for us to upload any smilie. Now, I am not going to do this, but if you ask Kirkus to post it, I will upload.
You know which one I miss?

Along the lines of icons we miss having, I would like to add the "group hug" icon.ponchi101 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 10:00 pmAnd I did say that if you were missing a smilie or any gif you simply had to post it and I would load it!!!!!

Actually, yes. Now that you mentioned it, that comes handy with regularity.
I don't need to PM Kirkus: Kirkus, if you are reading this topic, just post one message with the gifs mentioned here, and I will upload them as part of the gif library:
I slept with Stephen
Group hug
And we will continue to expand. Txs

FYI, you can add an emoji of your own if it's not available here. This system recognizes and displays the universal ones just fine. So I copy and pasted the thumbs up earlier and these above just fine. Not ideal, but just so you know, it's possible to do on your own if you just want the emoji you had in your mind that was most appropriate for your comment.

Re: The new TAT2.0. And how it works. LINKS
Another thing that I was missing from TAT1.0 is the ability to insert a link AS TEXT. Remember we could do this:
Our lovely old place
Here. you "can only" insert the link, with no text associated with it. But as you can see, it can be done:
{url=https://www.talkabouttennis.com} Our lovely old place{/url}
I have substituted the first and last "[]" so the link will be visible. Notice that after the first URL you get a "=" sign, and the last "]" goes after the https address. Then you can type in the name or sentence of whatever you want to link to.
And if you want to link AN IMAGE:
You do it this way:
{url=https://www.phpbb.com}{img}https://www.site.com/../../image_you_want.jpg{/img}{/url}
Curly brackets substitute for straight brackets, but that is the general syntax.

And if you go to a full edit, you will be able to sleep with Steven again
(Mr. K has delivered the full lot, so... we will include them on demand )
