I think my two SP picks will rack up more losses than my eight YCWJ picks. I think for that level of ineptitude I should receive a free entry in Paris.
I see your point but... if it were due to ineptitude, the competition is strong here.
I've gone out on the first day of the men's pool two years in a row. Both times, I foolishly made the mistake of picking an Aussie. So much for home support! If I do this again next year, I will be sentenced to having to spend the rest of my life watching videos of Djokovic bouncing the ball endlessly before finally serving it.

I will make a note for the '23 Aussie and, if you pick a local... you asked for it

Anisimova looked great today as she knocked me out of the pool.
Didn't see the match, but was wondering if it was Anisimova playing well, or Bencic playing poorly. I was knocked out too, and I thought this was a fairly safe pick.
Woke up to the disagreeable news that Grigor has gone so far down in quality that he can't even beat a man that always plays at 50%
I don't know if I am angrier at Grigor or at Paire. After all, Paire won, but what a time to really try to play. I guess damn them both!
Manarino beat Karatsev in 4 sets- I thought Karatsev would handle him easy. So I’m out. But hey good to see Manarino move forward - a crafty and wily veteran
