Or maybe it is...

You decide...

Emma Raducanu's 'Affliction'...

.
This is not that uncommon - I have friends who play recreationally who have lost toenails. Sounds to me like she needs to re-evaluate the fit of her shoes.

Thanks for the Charleston photos! You saw a bunch of great players. They all look happy (except Putinseva). Who was the nicest?

In case you’ve always wanted to see Garbi’s rear cleft.

I didn't even have to ask who was in the first picture.

Agree. The shoes' toebox is the important part. If it is too tight, your toes will suffer. Too loose, and when you slide you may jam your nails and really injure them.
I have not lost a nail in that way, but have cracked them, and it hurts like hell.

On Raducanu..my sense is she is not yet strong enough to go three sets - she loses energy, even her hand-speed goes down in the third set..as she gets stronger, she will be fine .she did well at the USO only because the points were short, the court being so fast...Wimbledon will suit her better, she will struggle on clay..

She did well at Wimbledon last year. Interesting insights. We'll see.
