That was precisely the OPPOSITE of how I had hoped Jo's final match would end. Anything but THAT. :(

Next player that retires from a match after the slightest twitch, Tsonga gets to come to his house and slap him. This should be an example to many.
It would have to be a left-handed slap, though.

What a sad end. Tsonga had just broken, then he came out to serve for the fourth set and suddenly couldn't serve or hit a forehand. He hit one underhand serve in that game, then a left-handed (sort-of) overhead in the tiebreak.

Shapovalov just let coach Jamie Delgado go (after only a month or two), and Canadian Peter Polansky (who's still an active player, I believe) is now his coach.

Poor Tsonga... A good career he had albeit in the early days I expected an even better one.

He is one of the guys that I would say would have had two or three slams if he had not been born right in the center of that Great Three era. I thought after that Aussie Open final that indeed he would reach more.
But that was a good career. He will have a lot of opportunities. I gather DC captain is for sure.

Command-Shift-3 for the whole screen, or Command-Shift-4 to make a selection - it will give you a little cursor that you can use to select part of the screen. Either of those should result in a jpg opening in Preview. :)

Very sad.

Counterpoint - it's not like he has to worry about possibly doing any damage that will prevent him from playing coming up, which is definitely a large reason... some... retire from match.

Uh Ms Schunk is up 5-0 on Halep in the second set after Halep fought her to win the first 6-4.

I've never heard of Schunk before, but I see she's only 18 years old so possibly underranked. Still no reason for Halep to lose to her on her favorite surface.

Was at the Tsonga match today, what a great atmosphere it was. Don’t know if they showed it on TV but after the match they had a big presentation on court. Some of his family, French team mates, and other people from his career came out to give him an award. They also had videos of his career highlights on the big screens, a clip of each of the Big 4 commending his work ethic and charisma, and then Tsonga himself gave a lengthy speech. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house (including mine). I’ve never experienced that at a live match before but I’m so glad I was there to see it.

And what a classy speech from Ruud too btw

I use FireShot FWIW. It's a Chrome add-on. Can capture the full page, the visible screen, or choose what I want. If you don't use Chrome, look at the add-ons for your browser, might be a a very easy way to go about other than just the native option for Mac and Windows.
