Not much of a change. Which is good. When they overdo it, some people look really weird.

I wonder if she'll lop more of her nose off later? She got talked out of it once but now that she's started...

I'm putting this here because this event wasn't a legitimate tennis event, and because I'm mentioning the other thing...

Ashley Harkleroad was apparently all they could get to replace Danielle Collins at the last minute for this event. Some of you may remember Harkleroad - she paved the path to 'fame' for Genie Bouchard... but Harkleroad went further than Genie in that Ashley's main claim to fame is that she very publicly posed for Playboy magazine, and, more recently, has begun showing her (cl)ass on 'onlyfans'.
I think the only reason Ashley played in this is because she misunderstood what the organizers meant by the term 'exhibition'. She must have thought that they were looking for exhibitionists.

Yeah... this sure was an important and classy event, huh?

Leylah Fernandez and Bob Bryan 'win' Exhibition...

I had no idea Harkleroad's career had taken such a turn.

Yeah... well...

She married fellow troubled individual (and colossal asshole) Alex Bogomolov Jr. when both were young... so she's really been on a negative path for quite a while.
If you've ever seen Bogomolov's behaviour on court, you'll know what I mean.

"My Playboy cover highlights my tennis career." (Ashley's words).

From Wikipedia:
"In 2022 Harkleroad joined the Onlyfans platform, producing pornographic content."
Nice to see she's being a wonderful role model for her 11 year old daughter.

I watched the movie ‘Battle of the Sexes’ last night, as it came up on one of my TV channels. It’s about, naturally, the match between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King.
I won’t spoil it by telling you who won the match.

The movie was somewhat entertaining - but, no surprise, it was also over-dramatized. Hell, the actual event was over-dramatized - but they still managed to go overboard with the movie - which has, sadly, come to be expected with all movies.
I really don’t like the artificial dramatization of reality (which is why I don’t watch the Laver Cup).

No. She took her braids out to let her real hair "breathe" so that it stays healthy. I'm glad she let herself be photographed like this.

I love it short. I think it accentuates her face, and she has beautiful features.
