If you use a western grip on reality you can put more spin on it. But if you use a continental grip, you will be able to handle the lows better.

As I said.
No new players use an eastern. Everybody wants that massive ton of spin on the ball. Never mind that then they never learn to volley.

Since the age of 14 I have been over 6 feet tall. My serve was my advantage while playing tennis. Serving and Volleying was my game. I was actually a much better doubles player than a singles player. I am in my mid 50's now with a bum right hip which really decreases my mobility so when I do play, I really have to rely on my serve because getting to the net to volley is a lot more difficult then it use to be.
