Svitolina is wearing a dress that may be the ugliest garment ever to grace a tennis court. She should get a code violation it is so offensive.

My GF thinks the entire collection is super. And I like them.

I know that right now, Raducanu's win at the USO has got to be the weirdest victory ever.
But Ostapenko's 2017 win here is right up there. Her record after that win, at this tournament, is impossible to fathom if you consider she is a former champion. The losses are insane, as is this one. Who on Earth is P. Stearns? Ranked below 200, and Ostapenko loses the match.
It is insane.

Stearns is a college standout just starting her pro career. Not that Ostapenko should have lost to her.

In far bigger news Garcia is out to Blinkova!

Ostapenko has 2 QF and 1 SF in slams in addition to her 2017 win. Raducanu's next best result is R16.

I probably would substitute Ostapenko with Andreescu

Sure. But here at RG, her record is all over the place. That title, and then a bunch of 1R and 2R. If you take out those 7 wins in 2017, it is the slam with her worst record.
And remember, I am saying that Raducanu's win is still the weirdest of them all. So far, nothing beats that. Ostapenko's might be en par with Majoli's.

Stearns is currently ranked 69 and is kind of flying up the rankings.

Stand corrected. I had heard nothing about her.

Taro Daniel did not expect Carlitos losing a set to Taro Daniel...
But credit where credit it due. Daniel played a solid set; almost no UE's.
