I don't think it is about age. That is one of two things that I don't think can be taught: CONTROL and POWER come with the genetics. You can work a lot on them, and get better, but there is a ceiling.
See Laconte, Henri. He just could not reign in that power to the centimeter.

Agree about Keys being better on hard courts but I was not at all surprised Sloane beat her .defense matters a lot on fast courts, and Keys is weak in that area..on a slower court, keys has the power to blow even Sloane away but on a fast court, movement matters more..
