I know. All the poor people in L.A. and Beverly Hills, watching their industry disappear and not being able to fill up their Rolls and Bentleys.
It makes you want to cry.
He is truly disconnected of any real world out there.

There's a different view floating around that goes like this:

Let's see who gets charged with "appropriation" at the Met Gala.

So far she is my best dressed. This is a reinterpretation of 70's dandy-ism on steroids and it works. The lead in "Superfly" would be wearing something like this.
The platforms, no but the over the top styling yes.

Pharrell's Asian inspired interpretation. A woman wearing something like this would be found in a corner booth at what we used to call "hustler bars"

Zendaya and Law Roach hit it out of the park. She and Teyana are tied in my book.

I dunno. It's not quite the right aesthetic.
The same with this. Not the aesthetic
She'd be gracing some Superfly's arm in this outfit. I like it.
So would she

The hat is perfect. The train is too much.
Bad Bunny with a Latino interpretation.
She's got the right attitude and the outfit works.
Ironically this is one of her best red carpet looks.
This is the aesthetic.
I'm skipping a lot of the beautiful gowns for now because I'm looking for who, in my opinion, was hit or miss with the aesthetic, and I want to see Colman Domingo.

Well done. I'm not here to do business just bring my set up and leave me alone
The robe is straight out of "Superfly". IIRC there's a scene where the main character wears something very similar.
The modern take of the suit with the pattern on pattern motif is wonderful.

Pharrell and his wife. I don't like what his wife is wearing. Several women wore this idea and I just don't think it's the right aesthetic.

Not sure if she's on invite list, but I'd love to see Missy Elliot show up in a nice track suit.
