I thought his match against Medvedev was probably the best match he played in a really long time. He plays extremely well on fast courts.

What bothered me today was the degree to which he just... quit. After he didn't break back in Novak's 3-2 service game in the second, he just quit, which was probably cumulative from not breaking in the opening game of the match--not to mention getting broken a few more times. On a few occasions late in the match, when Novak his first serves that were called out, Carlitos was already walking to the other side of his court to receive and had to go back to where he was to receive a second serve. And his barking to his box late in the second was downright Murray-esque. He was more out of sorts than I have ever seen him be. It was hard to watch. And disappointing.

But Novak does that to people. Today, Novak was just plain surgical. And euthanizistic. (Yes, I just created a word.)

Yes probably because Ram is of Indian origin. I have been tracking him since his heroics at the Orange Bowl as a junior
