The movie CODA which won the Academy Award was also very awesome too. The girl who sings the song in the video is the main actress in the movie and was fantastic in the movie as was the rest of the cast.

And the film has a lot of Canadian content - filmed in Montreal, etc.

I didn't know it was filmed in Montreal. I did know the girl who played the best friend of the main actress in the movie is from Canada (Amy Forsyth).

Apparently it wasn't filmed in Montreal.
For some stupid reason, two films released at a similar time have the same name.

This is the one filmed in Montreal, with a Canadian director, etc.

Well like I said the only connection I know with this CODA film that stars Emilia Jones, Marlee Matlin, Troy Kotsur, & Daniel Durant has a co-star actress from Canada. This is the film about the deaf family that the youngest daughter is the only one that can hear and she can sing really well.

Apart from the fact that a trio is 3 people, not 4, this is quite impressive...

This is his 8th album...

For an artist to have their work recognized world wide and ranked as #2 in the category is tremendous. You must be so proud Ashkor!

Born in the US, raised in India, lives in London...he is a global person himself!

So Rolling Stone released its Top 200 singers of all time list. There is a sliding thing at the top that lets you start from the top.

These things are impossible to agree with, but it's also an impossible task.

That said, Marc Anthony at just #167 and Martha Wash at just #179 hurts my soul.

Any such list that does not include William Shattner is most definitely not a legitimate list.
This is an outrage!

(In all seriousness, lists like this are not designed to point out who is best in any order, but their purpose is merely to get attention drawn to the source - in this case, Rolling Stone magazine - which, in turn, brings in more money through advertizing dollars, etc.)

The rankings that shocked me put Lennon and McCartney (and I'm a Beatles fan) higher than Patsy Cline.
The only explanation could be that Ms Cline died young and her catalogue isn't that large. I made the same argument to myself about Whitney being #2 and Aretha #1.

And don't get me started about Luthor...
