The shot of the other woman is so fast that I can tell if she looks like Genie. But she is wearing Nike so... Old Genie.
And the NERD IN ME would also write to them. Just for fun.
If you stop it at :17, you can see her. It's not a close up, and no, they aren't separated at birth or anything, but I think there is a resemblance. I didn't even think (or actually know) about the Nike connection. Good call.

I got a good look at her. Don't think they look anything alike and think Genie would be insulted. The woman here is very average looking.

Jess' photographer posted this, so it'll give you a better look at the bride and groom and the wedding in general

There is a new Federer tram in Basel (regular trams are green).
I'll try to make my own photo if I see it around the town. It will probably be on #8 route as that is the one Roger took to practice as a child.

Hopefully Basel doesn't become Federerville

Unlikely there will be a more famous Basel citizen this century
By the way a trivia question: who in your opinion is the most famous/important person ever born in Basel?

Years ago I heard a tennis commentator say "Literally everyone is jumping on the Fed train." I just wanted to scream at the TV that he meant exactly the opposite of literally. (This kind of thing upsets English teachers. I know, we are no fun to be around). Well, he's now half right, so I'll eat half of my words.
Thanks for the post.

Swear without looking it up, but wasn't Euler born in Basel? I know he was Swiss, but I am not sure if Basel or Geneva.

Yes indeed. Not just born but also graduated from University of Basel.

Didn't know he went to college. I thought he was one of those "natural" mathematical monsters, self taught.
To me, second only to Gauss. I once read an entire book about Euler's identity and, for a moment, I understood it. Then it vanished again into my brain, where, I hope, it is simply locked away from my access.
