His play today showed exactly why I hesitate to put him into an elite category even in the US. He had the match in his hands and then just lost focus I guess. He can do that at any time during a match. He's another player who can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. He's well rested starting the European swing too. We'll just have to wait and see.

That was some ceremony. Not sure if it's always that grand or it was in anticipation of Alcaraz winning.

With Rafa unable to get any traction, and Novak's elbow being in the news, this was a clear statement from Carlitos about RG. I would have thought that Stefanos, on clay, could have pushed him a bit more.
