Talk About Tennis 2.0

Now that we have gotten to the second pair of quarter-finals, I thought I ought to explain how the semi-finals will work, before you get there. Up until now, a pick has been needed each day. With the semi-final, only one pick will be needed even if the semi-finals occur on different days. If you had all of the picks available to you, you would want to use the losing finalist as your semi-final pick. Which would leave you with the champion as your pick in the final match. However, many of you are going to be constrained by your previous picks.

Remember that picks for the semis will be due before the start of the first semi.

Actually, no. All of the eight remaining contestants have already used both Djokovic and Ruud. So, technically we have eight winners, even though none of them can beat the draw.

The winners are Chad1, catman, jumpfroggy, led14pa2, mmmm8, shmrck14, Tolulops, and mu_royals.
