by ponchi101 Welcome, welcome.
Sorry, we are a tad late to open today, but it is just something to do with that bloody Brexit mess. Ever since we had to let go of all the Euros (meaning the people, not the coin) we simply canβt find proper service. The Spaniards and Portuguese that were manning our place were, when we come to think about it, rather useful. No way you can find a lad from Liverpool that will show up in time.
Anyway, welcome in. We offer a very, very large selection of beers and ales, plus, of course, stronger spirits. Which is what, if you have already arrived, you probably are: already dead, and here now rest your demised entity. So, feel free to drown your sorrows in the ghastliest of fashions and tell us the tale of your death: TB in the fifth? Straight set romping? W/O because of a tummy ache after a bad batch of fish and chips? Or the dreaded, you forgot to post? Your dog ate the keyboard?
Music on demand, food if you feel like having something totally unpalatable, and just be sure of something: you wonβt be alone for long.
Another fine Wimbledon tradition, we shall say.
