all 3 italians are lumped together in the same section of the draw.. maybe some randomization by country would be good..

Why? They are in the same section precisely because the draw is at random, after seeds 1 and 2 are placed.

Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy - we'll see how much of the day is effected but it looks more promising than the first few days in Montreal.

Heck of a tie-break between Raonic, and Tiafoe. Tiafoe hit a winner on set point, but also touched the net. The net is a doubles net, and since Tiafoe touched the net past the singles stick it doesn't matter, and he still wins the point. Raonic then smashed his racquet on the back of the bench that they have for the players to sit on.

And it has happened enough times for players to know by now.
Ages ago, the same thing happened with Seles, when she actually put her foot under the net. But it was on the outside of the singles' posts.
