I don't get to watch much outside Slam tennis these days but saw my SP pick on before bed and decided to watch it... nothing like 3 AM finishes with your pick in a third set TB. Should know better than to do that to myself!

I have the advantage of not being able to watch tennis. So, even if it is late in the first set, I can just go to bed.

We are getting into a difficult section. 27 of the last 32 players are seeded. So we are having to pick from matches with two seeded players.
I (obviously) feel more confident about Dimitrov than I am about Frtiz, but only time will tell. I think that is because I think Baez is better than Mannarino. Good Luck, everyone.

Also, I picked him two days ago So apparently he was fine enough for me that day.

This far into either of these practice SPs no result will surprise me.

I would have been picking Paul if I had to pick both quarterfinals … that was why I went with Ruud last round.
