Machac: You are picking an unseeded player versus a seeded player. You are either brave, or you know more about Machac that I do, or both.
Fritz: I am assuming that we will need to reserve Djokovic and Medvedev for the semifinals and beyond. If the tournament results follow the seedings, we will have to choose someone from Ruud [9] vs Hurkacz [8] or Fritz [12] vs Rune [7]. Personally, I try to keep all of my options available, so that I can make my pick on the players form from the last couple of rounds; for example, I would have the option of picking Fritz if Musetti manages to beat Rune.
