I was checking why my query did not pick that win over Safin. Turned out I was comparing dates of the matches (and they all correspond to the tournament start date in my DB) with dates when #1 reign started and ended. But I used strict comparisons (< an >), not accounting for the case when the tournament start coincides with the start of the #1 reign (the same day). When I put non-strict ">=" and "<=" this match is added to Rusedski's wins.

So yes, he shall be counted as well. But when I was asking the question, I had another player in mind. And his name is not yet revealed )

With that fix there is even one more player with 4 wins - Roscoe Tanner. But I was not asking about him as well )
