If you only look at the game, Bublik should have won. Easily. But that head...
My whine.
Wake up this morning, do my YCWJ. I choose two Argies, Coria and Comesana. Comesana comes from a ridiculous run at W, so I say, he can't keep that up.
So I move him to be my first pick.
And he keeps his run going. Damn!!!
(language joke)
He really wanted me to learn my lesson, huh, and made Humbert eat it.

Double cheeked - didn’t think Errani still had singles wins in her and thought a home crowd could rally behind Dolehide.

Irena2 is hiding in shame because she totally forgot to pick... After going to the open in person. It was a long travel day. I too managed on my own to get double cheeked - a Humbert picker. There remains some small hope for the YCWJ contest at least.
How about something along the lines of a cognac. Even a fancy cognac has to be cheaper than a Honey Deuce (which we thought were pretty good!).

Thank you, ponchi!!! Your kindness helps alleviate the complete bummed-ness of DIY doublecheeking.
But it probably won't help with my memory...

And so, Mr. Fils is the final bookend to an absolutely miserable SP year for me. Next year is going to see me adopt a different strategy. For now... I'm going to sit in a corner with a large tub of triple chocolade ice cream...

I had planned to come in here, if Maddie had won, and ask for something to calm my nerves. However, since she lost, I don't need anything.

Anyway, if there is a person here that deserves a cocktail on the house, it is you.
This is the "Madison Ave Cocktail":
I quote:
The recipe calls for equal parts of orange liqueur and lime juice, poured in a mug 3/4 ounce at a time. Try this cocktail with an aged rum if you want it to have a little more depth, even if you want to use white rum (or light rum).
Now, I just need to find a cocktail for us Vika pickers.

I blame myself for my loss yesterday. I came back TWICE to change my pick and didn't because I oft believe in the "trust your first thought."
I then decided last night to have N/A beer with dinner, but saw the score come up again and switched to something heavier during the Big Foe match...since that is who I was going to pick lol

English Ale.
I also thought of picking Boulter. I switched early in the morning.
She is good for 1 round. Then, let Alex deal with her.
Your ale:
