I like my chances no matter where I am in the standings after the second round thank to Ethan Quinn toughing out a five-setter against Shevhchenko.
As much as you can be confident you've found the right spot in the draw for the golden spoon (reality check: you can't), I thought I had identified it on the ATP side and picked the guys playing that first-round match 1-2, something I've never done before. But then Dimitrov retired against Quinn, making the second round a total toss-up. Quinn came through, though, and almost certainly will lose to Griekspoor in the next round. Then Griekspoor should lose to either Zverev or Cobolli in the fourth round, and the winner there should lose to Djokovic, who should lose to Sinner, who should lose to Alcaraz.
I've got this.
This is aging like fine wine

Almost as fine as my top pick for the WTA Wooden Spoon!
Wonder what the record for farthest a YCWJ pick has wound up making it in a draw. Wouldn't be surprised if this was it.

Indeed. A good question.
Maybe Podoroska in 2020?

Guess we can't go back and confirm. Oh well, at worst I tied that!
Someone else did have Boisson as their one pointer, but I'm calling dibs on worst pick for making her my four pointer

Unfortunately for me, Boisson's win over Andreeva is going to give Patrick a one-point win in the scenario I laid out, assuming Sabalenka beats Gauff.

And it did

JazzyG cashed on a juicy bonus to take this spoon. The entire post where he told us what was going to happen is above: a majestic prediction thread in which he tried to jinx 6 players, and failed admirably at it. And for that, he got his spoon.
I will award it ASAP, and will post a bit later the wooden spoons for each tour.
Thanks to all for playing, see you in three weeks, on grass!

I had it all the way!
Actually, Griekspoor was a handful of points away from losing to Quinn long before Alcaraz saved the three match points today in his epic comeback. But this sure was fun.

To make it complete.
JazzyG was able to pick the ATP wooden spoon. That was Lajovic, who went:
Lajovic - Shevchenko - Quinn - Griekspoor - Zverev - Djokovic - Sinner, eventual loser to Alcaraz.
On the women's side, nobody was able to pick the spoon, which went to Noskova:
Noskova- Potapova - Starodubtseva - Paolini - Svitolina - Swiatek - Sabalenka
That would have been a touch pick, as Noskova was seeded and has shown promise.
Congrats to JazzyG again. This was a well-earned 3rd Wooden Spoon.
