Semifinal lineup expected would be Sinner versus Djokovic, Alcaraz versus Zverev then?
I don't see Zverev making a semifinal in a quarter with both Fritz, and Medvedev - Zverev has not made it past the 4th round at Wimbledon.
True, Fritz can be expected to beat him...but, if I am reading the draw right, Fritz has to beat Medvedev first, before he gets to Zverev.. can he?

The betting sites have Alcaraz and Sinner equal favorites.. I cant see that, frankly.. Alcaraz has that indefinable something, that ability to raise his game, find another gear, that Sinner doesnt have.. Sinner's normal level is high enough to beat anyone else but not, I think, Alcaraz, when it gets close. On any surface.

Medvedev has beaten Zverev 12 of the past 14 times they have played.

The bottom half seems Alcaraz's for the taking. But the top half...Does Djokovic get past Draper? And does Sinner get past either of them? I really couldn't guess who is coming out of there.
And human booby-trap Alexander Bublik is there too.

I feel like Bublik is due to crash down to earth...and even if he keeps it up, I don't think his antics will bother those three at that stage of the tournament.

That is the reason I called him a booby-trap. The man can play sublime tennis, and then he can play lunatic tennis.
Yes, I don't see him reaching the semis. But his first big name to meet may be Draper. And Draper better not walk out there feeling sure of a win.
